Pavoratona, a project that is marking my life

 Well today I want to take this space to tell the story of pavoratona, the scientific divulgation project of which I am honored to be a member.

This project started last year, being merely an idea created by Francisca and Andres, who formally are my "bosses" but in reality we are all friends. They proposed to carry out a scientific project in which the main objective was to teach science to young and old but with the main condition of highlighting the role of women in science. That is why the name of the project, "pavoratona" that comes from the ideal gas formula "PV=RnT", that students usually learn as "pavoraton" but we add a letter A at the end to give it that feminine phonetic.

They presented their idea in a meeting of Aneb, where Sofia, another partner of the project, and I was as a listener, and in that same meeting, we both decided to be part of the project, some time later Pamela would join and after much effort we started the realization of the project, publishing videos and infographics on instagram, and we also applied to many projects, In October of last year we were informed that we had been awarded with the "Blue Prize", which gave us funding for our project with which we bought a better computer to make the infographics and edit the videos, and a camera to record the latter. We were also able to carry out our first Science Fair, which was held on October 16 of this year in the commune of Graneros, now we are working on planning more science fairs, with different municipalities, and bring science in a closer way, both adults and children. And always highlighting the importance of women in science.

With this I say goodbye, I wanted to tell what makes me happy to work as a student and I can only say thank you for your attention and see you in a future occasion.
