We have all dreamed or thought about what the future would be like, what my house would look like in 1000 years, we have also thought about whether the past really was as history says. That's what I will talk about today, what I would like to observe if I had the power to travel in time.
First of all I have never liked to know what the future would be like, because I feel that it takes the difficulty out of life, since we would know how everything would happen, and it would be pointless to do some things, because it will always end at the same point. But if I could travel in time I would like to travel more to the past, to see some historical facts, and check if they really happened as the books say. Mainly I would like to visit italy and france during the renaissance time and see how the catholic church lost that power of authority, because people finally put their thinking over a belief.
I would really like to stay during this time and meet great artists, like Da Vinci and Michelangelo mainly. Of the latter I would like to ask him what went through his head to paint such a beautiful masterpiece in the Sistine Chapel, with such detail that it looks more like an impression than a painting. And for Da Vinci I would like to be like his apprentice, because what a satisfying thing it would be to be an apprentice of Leonardo da Vinci, to learn things from one of the most intelligent people in history, it would be
a great honor.
